The mission of CRR is to improve the health and well being of racial and ethnic minority populations through the provision of culturally competent care and programming that address disparities and gaps in health outcomes. Concerned about the disparities in healthcare and health outcomes within communities of color, CRR dedicates its resources to the promotion of recovery, well-being, community integration and productivity among persons who are at the beginning stages of recognizing their own strengths.
CRR offers culturally competent and high quality care to people with developmental disabilities, chemical dependence, HIV/AIDS and families of such persons who reside in the Nassau County communities of Freeport, Roosevelt, Uniondale and Hempstead, New York.
